King County’s Employee Giving Program (EGP) is powered by employees who care about making a difference. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to contribute, grow your skills, and connect with colleagues across the county, consider joining the EGP Committee. The EGP is currently recruiting for new committee members, and we would love for you to join!
Who we are:
The EGP Committee is a countywide group of employees who share a passion for giving back — through charitable giving, volunteering, and building community. As a committee member, you’ll join a team that:
- Embraces a learning culture — we experiment, share ideas, and try new things.
- Takes action — we roll up our sleeves and make things happen.
- Supports balance — we lean in when we can and lean out when we need to.
- Values fun and collaboration — because meaningful work should also be enjoyable.
Who you are:
We’re looking for King County employees from most departments who want to help shape the future of employee giving and volunteering. You might be a great fit if you have experience or interest in communications, event planning, project management, or financials. But most importantly, you care about making a positive impact.
Why join:
Joining the EGP Committee is also about growing. Members have the opportunity to lead strategic planning and process improvement, build leadership skills, expand your network across King County, amplify the impact of employee giving and volunteering, and much more.
When you join the committee, you can help shape a program that reaches across the entire county workforce and beyond. Your involvement helps strengthen our community, our workforce, and the organizations that are supported through the program.
