On September 17th, the King County Employee Giving Program held its 2015 ambassador rally and training to kick-off the Annual Giving Drive!  The event was well attended by new and returning ambassadors all eagerly excited to begin supporting the hundred’s of nonprofit charities available in this year’s Annual Giving Drive.  Ambassadors are the heart and soul of the program and help bring the opportunity that the Employee Giving Program offers to each and every King County employee from Brightwater to South Base and all the points in between.

Why be an Ambassador?

Honorary co-chairs Councilmember Dave Upthegrove and Lorinda Youngcourt, Director, Department of Public Defense emphasized “together we can do anything”.  rallypichccAt the rally ambassadors were introduced to a blood cancer survivor, Johnathan Olson, who is alive today through the support donors through Be The Match, where a Kim Allen expressed the cure is people.RallypicJORallypicKA
