Ambassador STAR Awards are peer nominated awards for individuals or teams for outstanding contribution during the Annual Giving Drive.

Innovation: Cheryl Woodruff, DOT South Base

Transit Operators don’t have King County email addresses, so Ambassadors at each base really have to practice the 100% Opportunity in person. This can be a challenge in our email and technology driven environment, but Cheryl never let that stop her. She found creative and innovative ways to reach all 500 of her employees and help answers their questions. Often times she did this by building upon other events that were already happening. Way to go, Cheryl!
