About

The King County Employee Giving Program is the workplace giving program for employees of King County government.

Our vision is to advance a culture of engaged and empowered employees to improve local and global communities.

The program is overseen by a committee made up of employees from across King County. They are the heart of the program.  It is then operationalized by our full-time administrator. Learn more about the KCEGP here.

We believe in the power of workplace giving and employee volunteerism – and all of the benefits it provides to our employees, our community, and our workplace. There is also an absence of dialogue at the intersection of workplace giving, the public sector, and nonprofits.  This site is an initial start to bridging that gap, using ourselves as the subject in most cases.
